Benefits of rooting

Now lets get to the must have apps for a rooted phones.Basically there are lots of apps available which help you in increasing your battery life, customise your phone, flashing roms, changing cpu frequencies, modifying system files and i must say a lot of apps are present. But I'll present you with the apps which are most useful and you will not regret installing these apps. :)

best-apps-for-rooted-phones

#1 ES Filemanager
I must say that the first app to install after rooting your phone is ES filemanager as this one such app which will do work of 7-8 apps ,from a filemanager to a video, audio player, root browser, app installer,sd card analyst. This app also work in non-rooted mode.

#2 Xposed Framework
Xposed is a framework for modules that can change the behavior of the system and apps without touching any APKs. That's great because it means that modules can work for different versions and even ROMs without any changes (as long as the original code was not changed too much). It's also easy to undo. As all changes are done in the memory, you just need to deactivate the module and reboot to get your original system back. There are many other advantages, but here is just one more: Multiple modules can do changes to the same part of the system or app. With modified APKs, you to decide for one. No way to combine them, unless the author builds multiple APKs with different combinations. This app work as a framework for other apps to modify system files.

#3 Flashify

Flashing manually can be a lot of work. What if there was an app that did all the heavy lifting? With Flashify, you can sit back and let the app automatically flash for you. This is an app for those who like to have a lot of customization and don't want to spend endless hours getting get.
With Flashify, you can flash your boot.img, recovery.img and zip files with ease. If you want to backup these to your local or cloud storage, the app automatically syncs them. You get automatic cloud synchronization between backups of devices and your desktop. The app allows you to restore kernel and recovery using an SDcard as well.
The app is free to use but you should be aware that you can only perform three free flashes per day. If you have a lot of flashes to do, you might want to consider purchasing a few more. If you want to spread them out so you don't have to pay, you can add them to your queue and they can be flashed the next day.

#4 Link2SD – Increase internal memory of your mobile

This is one of best rooted app for android mobile which you can use to increase internal memory of your android mobile which is rooted and SU permissions enabled. This app is a bit complex as to increase internal memory of your android mobile you have to create partition in your memory card, but this app is worth try and a must have root app for rooted android mobile phones.

 #5 Greenify

This app is one of the best apps for rooted phones as it increases the battery life of your device and is of the best apps for installing.

#6 Titanium Backup

Titaniun Backup is one of best root app which can be used to do multiple things. Its also one of must have android app, if you experiments with your phone most of the time, than you cant afford to miss this app, as this app will simply create backup of your APK as well of its data also.

Some of great features of Titaniun Backup:

Can backup and restore app data along with apk.

Can change android ID easily.

Can remove system app which can be installed from Application manager

#7 System App Remover

Best app to  remove the unwanted bloatware present in your system to free up space for other apps. This app further help in boosting your droid perfomance

#8 Quick Boot (Reboot)
Quick Boot is an app that is both absurdly simple and absurdly useful. In most versions of Android, the power menu is weak sauce and you can only power down and sometimes you can reboot. Quick Reboot fixes this by allowing you to boot to recovery, and boot to bootloader. If you go pro, you’ll also get Tasker support as well as a hot boot option which just reboots the Android UI. It’s quick, simple, and makes finding an advanced power menu for your device a little bit less of a priority.

#9  ROM Toolbox

This is one of the very few all-in-one solutions for root users that still actually works. It has a bunch of features that includes a built-in file browser with root, app manager (uninstall system apps, etc), ROM management (create nandroid backups), script writer, font installer, and a lot more. On some devices, you can even change the boot animations, themes, and status bar icons. It doesn’t work for every phone, but it should work for most. Do beware, though, because it’s been half a year since the app was updated and we’re not entirely sure if the project was abandoned or not.

#10 Viper4AndroidFX
If you're serious about the audio output of your rooted Android phone then Viper4Adnroid FX is the root app you want. It has too many features to list here, but you can go nuts with EQ mode settings, get near-lossless sound quality, optimize your speaker output, get Hi-Fi sound on your headphones and manage system audio settings to work on any third-party or system app.Best app for music lovers to enhance their music effects.

#11 DiskDigger-Best app to recover data on the go
We're huge fans of recovering lost SMS, photos, files and data, and once you're rooted there are even more solutions to the problem. If you've accidentally deleted photos, files or something else off your phone, DiskDigger can instantly recover it without losing a second (which is important in these situations).

#12 BetterBatteryStats
Who doesn't love a good battery stat? OK, maybe not most people, but I'll assume that if you're the type of Android owner who wants to root your phone, you might have an above-average interest in critical system things like battery consumption.
Better Battery Stats offers just that: a much more detailed and informative breakdown of what's using your battery. A lot of this comes stock in Android Marshmallow but if you don't have that update yet, this is the next best thing.

#13 Tasker - Automation tool

It's big, it's complex and a little daunting, but if you can commit yourself to it fully, you'll be repaid in full. Tasker is a full system automation app that can automate anything you do regularly with your Android phone, from setting up scheduled activities to automating tasks in apps.

#14 Device Control
If you're rooted you now have the ability to over-clock or under-volt your Android. These terms basically mean pumping more power into your CPU or limiting the amount of juice your battery uses. Device Control gives you these options and plenty more, including sound and display management, a build.prop editor and Tasker integration.

#15 Servicely
Servicely is a newer application that helps control background services. This will allow you to do something like prevent Facebook from running in the background while your device screen is off. It’s a stop-gap for stopping rogue apps and unwarranted wake ups of your device and should help improve battery depending on how you use your device and which services you decide to stop. It’s a solid service and worth a shot if you have a service you just can’t stop.

So,these were the top apps for a rooted phone which a user must have  to utilise their deviice properly.. :)

Towelroot

Created by XDA Recognized Developer geohotTowelroot is another root exploit app that is compatible with a large range of devices. The root exploit itself is built around Linux kernel CVE-2014-3153 discovered by hacker Pinkie Pie, and it involves an issue in the Futex subsystem that in turn allows for privilege escalation. Although specifically designed for certain variants of the Galaxy S5, it is compatible with the majority of devices running unpatched kernels.

CF-Auto-Root

Created by XDA Senior Recognized Developer Chainfire, CF-Auto-Root is a root for “rooting beginners” and those who want to keep as close to stock as possible. CF-Root is meant to be used in combination with stock Samsung firmwares as well as Nexus devices, and be the quickest and easiest way for your first root. In essence, it does nothing but install and enable SuperSU on your system, so apps can gain root access.
 What's the difference between CF-Auto-Root and CF-Root, and/or other root solutions ?
CF-Root (non-Auto) are manually built rooted kernels and/or flashables that usually provide more than "just root". CF-Auto-Root is built on an automated system that I am constantly improving that takes a stock recovery image and returns an automated rooting packages. These packages are designed to install and enable SuperSU on your device, so apps can gain root access, and nothing more.

The difference with many other rooting solutions is that those will often install a custom recovery for you (I am personally moving away from custom kernels and recoveries, for various reasons), while with CF-Auto-Root you will end up with a stock recovery again.

Not included - custom recovery
A custom recovery like CWM or TWRP is not included.

Not included - Triangle Away
Triangle Away can be used to reset the flash counter after installing CF-Root. The flash counter keeps track of how many custom firmwares you have flashed, as this voids warranty. (No idea what this about ? Read up on it, you will want to use this !)

Not included - adbd Insecure
As this CF-Root does not include a custom kernel, adb shell does not have root access by default (you can still get it by typing su inside the shell), nor is adb remount supported, nor will adb push and adb pull work on system files. adbd Insecure can be used to remedy this situation. (No idea what this is about ? Don't worry about it !)

KingRoot

KingRoot is root for people who just want to have root access to their devices, and not necessarily wanting to flash anything extra. It works on almost all devices from Android version 2.x to 5.0. Working of KingRoot is based on system exploit. The most suitable root strategy will be deployed from cloud to your device according to the ROM information on the device. The best part of using this root method is that it does not trip KNOX and have the ability to close Sony_RIC perfectly.

KingRoot is an amazing tool for "lazy people" who just want to get root access but don't want to flash any third party Recovery into their lovely device. It is one of the most famous root tool in China and now we release English version here for everyone, totally free and without AD. Video editing programs are very important for every user from converting videos to editing them and watermarking them. Users can use them to make simple operations, like cutting the video into pieces, trimming them with other, arranging the clips across the timeline and much more, and even to do complex ones, like adding effects and filters. Also, they can be used to convert and resize videos to gain a little more free space on your hard drive or to upload them faster on your favorite websites.Following are some Methods to Resize Videos Without Loosing their Quality :
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Using Avidemux :
Avidemux is a free and open-source video editing application which can also be used for post processing and for many other operations. It can do cutting, encoding, filtering operations and more, while using a simple interface which can be simply understood even by beginners. In addition, the program is compatible with almost every operating systems (Windows, Mac OS or Linux) and platform. It’s demonstrated that with proper customization settings, Avidemux can transform an 8 GB raw video toa 200 MB video, without spotting any noticeable difference between them. So, don’t dawdle anymore and follow the next guide which explains how you can use this application to resize your videos and in the same time maintain its quality:
1. Go to Avidemux’s official page and download the program that corresponds with your operating system. Two mirrors are available, select one and start downloading.
2. Begin the installation and when you are asked which components to install (“Choose Components”), go with what it’s already checked.
3. When the installation is done, launch the app that can be found in the Avidemux folder from the start menu.
4. Now, go to the desired video and drag and drop it to the application’s workspace.Note that if you have more than a video, do the same operation and you should have both videos in the timeline, placed one after another. To check if everything is right, make sure that the timer has increased and now it totalizes both videos.
1. Look in the left-side of the screen and find the three boxes:Video, Audio and Format. This step is very important so no mistakes are allowed. The first one would be to click on the drop-down menu which is placed under the Video section and choose “MPEG-4 AVC” video codec.
2. Now, under Audio, select from the drop-menu the “AAC (Faac)”audio codec.
3. Last but not the least, choose the “MP4” format.
4. In the upper-side of the screen look for the “Save Video” icon. To be sure, just hover the pointer over the icons and see which icon is for what. Also, you must be very careful what you select, because “Save Project” is not the same thing with “Save Video”.
5. At this point, the save file prompt pops out and you only have to name the video and select the location where you want to save it. It’s extremely important to manually introducethe MP4 extension, which means that after the name of the reduced video you should write “.mp4”.Note that this operation can take a while. It all depends on the size of the initial video and the frequency of your computer’s processor. Until the process is done, you should not touch anything on the screen and let the program do its job.
USing Handbrake :
Handbrake is open-source and cross-platform video transcoder application which is equipped with a great number of important features. We can remind encoding where users can change the output(bit rate, maximum file size or bit rate), video filtering, batch encoding and more. The program works on Mac, Windows and Linux, which is excellent and completely free.We have made a quick tutorial where we present how to shrink videos without losing their quality:
1. First of all download the application that corresponds with your operating system from the official site.
2. Secondly, launch the program and search for the “Source” button which is placed in the upper left-side of the app.
3. Browse your files, select the desired video and click “Open”.
4. Under the “Destination” section, click “Browse” to select the location where you want to save the new file along with its name. Also, be sure that in the output settings the format option is set to “MP4 file”.
5.Under the section that is grayer than the rest of the application’s interface, where five buttons are available (Video, Audio, Subtitles, Advanced and Chapters), select“Video”.
6. Now, go to “Target size (MB)” which is placed under “Quality” and type in the desired file size of the compressed video. It’s very important to know that you have to follow one important rule and that is: never shrink the videos any smaller than half of the original raw file, because for certain the quality will be worse.
7. Once you done that, go to the upper side of the app and click “Start” and the application will start compressing the video file.
Converting to FLV format :
The FLV format is the de facto standard for online videos which is commonly used by big websites, like YouTube and Hulu. The big advantage for this kind of format isthat it can halve the size of a regular video. In order to make this happen, just follow the next simple step-by-step guide:
1.We suggest using a free application which is called Free Video to Flash Converter that can be downloaded from the DVDVideoSoft official page.
2. The installation of the application is very simple, just follow the steps and choose where you want to install it. When the installation is complete run the program.
3. Press on the “Add files” button, browse to your desired video and open it.
4. Next, pay attention to select the FLV format and not the SWF one. Also, select the destination for the converted video in the “Save to” area.
5. After, go to the little button with a wand on it and press it to customize the compression settings. To maintain the same quality, select in the “Video bitrate” drop-menu a value thatis between 2 MB/s and 4 MB/s and in the “Audio bitrate” choose a value that is around 192 Kb/s. Also, you could drop the 1080p resolution to 720p from the same place, in order to shrink the size of the final video even more.
6. Now, just press “Convert” and wait until the process is done. You will see that the quality is the same and the size is up to 50% smaller.
Using Virtual Dub :
VirtualDub is a video capture and video processing application for Windows that operates on AVI movies.
In order to compress your videos without losing quality, read the next guide:
1. Download and install the application from here.
Also, in order to be sure that the application works properly, you need to install K-Lite Codec Mega Pack which can be downloaded from here.
2. Download and install VirtualDub.
Next run the app and open thedesired video in it.
3. Now, go to “Video” and select “Compression”. Also, you can type the CTRL+P combination from your keyboard to do the same thing.
4. A menu will appear and from its left-side, select “Xvid MPEG-4 Codec” from the video compression list.
5. Click OK and go to “File” and select “Save as”. Now, VirtualDub will compress the video, but in the same time will maintain the original quality.
Also, you could try other tricks like:
*.Cutting the extra space from the 16:9 videos, if you intend to use for your video a 4:3 aspect. To do this, you can use the movavi or Wondershare Video Editor application.
*.Changing the quality of the video to a lower resolution, because it will save a lot of space on your hard drive. Note that the differences between 1080p and a 720p aren’t so visible and you could do this with just simple steps using a simple converter (Free Video Converteror Online Video Converter which is a completely free and online solution).
*.Also, trying to convert to other video and other compression formats.
